Oxfam GB is collaborating with Care USA and Coady Institute to organise a series of webinars (online seminars) to bring together the thinking of a community of researchers and practitioners working on women's collective action (WCA).

The purpose of these webinars is to enable different organisations working on issues related to WCA to share their findings/experience with one another, and identify overarching issues, current gaps in knowledge, and synergy and/or opportunities for future research collaborations. We will hold a total of 6 webinars between now and April 2012.

The first theme of the webinar series will focus on ‘Tools for Analysing Collective Action,’ which will consist of the following:

• Webinar 1 - Conceptual Framework (August 23)
• Webinar 2 – Typology (August 30)
• Webinar 3 - Synthesis of findings from WCA project so far (Sep. 20)

Webinars 4-6 will be held later starting in November.
