Lunch Time Talk on WEL in Oxford, October 13 - Launch of Grow. Sell. Thrive.

Hello!
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Claudia Canepa. As the Learning and Communications Coordinator in the Women's Livelihoods Team in Oxfam GB, I am the main administrator of Grow. Sell. Thrive. I'd like to welcome all the new members of this community. For the next few weeks, I will be blogging in this site highlighting its main features and giving you ideas on how to use this space to connect to others, and access and contribute resources.

For now, I want to let everyone know -- particularly those who are not based in Oxford -- that the Program Policy Team and Campaigns held a joint Lunch Time talk in Oxford in October to launch our new Grow. Sell. Thrive. community!

A total of people 50 attended. Presenters were:

  • Sally Baden on approach to promoting Women's Economic Leadership (WEL) in agricultural markets
  • Claudia Canepa on Growth. Sell. Thrive. online community
  • David Bright on examples of enterprise and market programmes
  • Catherine Pettengell on climate change adaptation
  • Hugh Cole on the Food Justice Campaign
